Today's posting is about one event; A Visit of Mobile Learning Guru to UKM. As you all know, Prof Ally from The University of Canada has visited UKM last month. During his excursion to UKM, he was invited to give talk and seminar for students and lecturers about M-Learning. What is M-Learning? M-Learning refers to Mobile Learning in which it focuses on mobile; handy; 24/7 learning. Learning nowadays take place wherever you are, at anytime, anywhere, anyhow. For this reason, I was entrusted to make one multimedia presentation for E-Community Research Center, Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanity to be presented during "A Welcoming Dinner with Prof Ally" held at Cyberjaya Lodge Resort. Layout above shows the backdrop of the event. The concept of the design is simple, to show the heritage of Malaysia. I used batik paintings motives with carved elements of Malay tradition. Simple isnt it? Hahaha, different people different perspectives. Unfortunately, we could not set up the LCD for the multimedia presentation because the cafe doesnt allow us to do so. In order to remain the backdrop, I will personally place it in my blog for public viewing. Till then, Shahrul Ridzuan Arshad.Monday, December 1, 2008
